Pretty in pink

Main image stamped using a 'Debbie Moore' set of stamps. Coloured in with 'Pro-markers' and added a bit of silver glitter glue. I used a 'Martha Stewart' punch for the edges of the foiled card.

New Polychromos Pencils

Having got a new set of 'Faber Castel Polychromos Pencils' this is the first opportunity I have had to play with them. They are really easy to use and blend. I did buy them with the intentions of using them for my parchment work but now that I have tried them on my stamped images I think that they are going to become a favourite in 2011!
I think that I am going back to my craft room now for another play.
Stamp is one of 'Crafters Companion flower fairy' range and the backing paper is also from the 'Flower Fairy' CD.

Happy New Year

Wishing anyone reading my blog a very happy 2011. I have not posted on here for a while as I have been sooo busy but I am hoping to start posting again on at least a weekly basis with both stamping and parchment cards.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read my blog.

Another Adorable

Another card using the 'Adorables' stamp collection and CD for the backing paper. This time I have made a general card easel style for a little girl, rather than a Christmas card.
Again I have coloured using Promarkers - I really am addicted to using these pens at the moment. I used a Martha Stewart edging punch to make a border for the envelope edges. The envelope template came from the CD. For the sentement I used a Nestabilities label and after embossing I coloured the edge again with a Promarker to give a layered effect.

FORE!

This is a card for a family member - why is it I'm always on the last minute with family cards!
The stamp is from the 'Flippin Men' series and I have used Promarkers again to colour in with several shades of grey. I have used a heavy weight acetate for the front of the card so I could get a good effect with the backside image.
The black panel on the front was embossed with one of the 'Glitter Girls' border panels.

'Adorable's'

Having returned home from a lovely weeks holiday in Northumberland, I was delighted to find my new CD and stamps from the 'Adorables' collection from Crafters Companion and Jayne Nestarenko.
I couldn't wait to start playing and was spoilt for choice. This is my first card using these stamps and backing papers. The images were coloured with Promarkers and a little glitter added to the white fur on the girls coat. On the background I stamped the Christmas trees in two sizes with forest green Stazon and then just added a little water colour to give depth. For the snow I used Polar White Flower Soft.
